A labyrinth is a meditative path. Our thoughts are our companions. Ourtrust into the labyrinth strengthens our faith and fights against our fears and doubts. If we want to overcome our fears and doubts, we must learn to trust. It is harder for us to trust and to believe in the invisible than into the visible, physical. To „drop into one’s faith“itself strengthens our inner strength. It may not be of a physical nature, nevertheless it can move mountains.
Hilde Domin, German writer, describes this „In-itself“with the following words:
„Listening to the voiceless voice of the heart means, not to lie to oneself…but you cannot hear this voice, except in the inner pause, in the active break…desire and functioning have stopped. A moment of catharsis and purification, not a moment of action. Only a consolidation of the human, facing reality differently.“
